What seems like forever ago, I started a skincare routine. Although the lines on my face really didn’t bother me that much, I knew that it wouldn’t be long before they got out of control. I love the idea of aging! And I absolutely want to continue to age. I just don’t want the wrinkly skin.
A Skincare Routine
Starting around the age of 18, every guy needs to have a skincare routine. Now, in the next sentence, I’m going to sound like a cheesy advertisement. The key to healthy and youthful-looking skin is simple. Eat healthy, get lots of sleep, exercise, and moisturize every day.
When I see a new line on my face, I think about how I could have prevented it years ago. Had someone taught me the importance of having a good skincare routine 20 years ago, I wouldn’t have struggled finding a routine that works for me today.
My Morning Routine
My fiancée tells me that I spend way too much time getting ready each morning. It takes me about an hour from the time I get into the shower to the time I finished getting dressed. Minus her makeup, she can be showered and dressed in half that time.
I may be a bit anal-retentive, but my routine has worked out pretty well for the past 10 years. Each morning in my shower I condition my hair (I shampoo every 2-3 days), shave, wash with a bar of all-natural bar soap, and wash my face.
When I get out of the shower, I brush my teeth with an all-natural toothpaste (I really try to stay away from stuff filled with chemicals), use some face serum, eye serum, moisturize, add some beard balm, a little pomade to my hair, and pop in my contacts. Boom! Done in the bathroom.
There are tons of anti-aging products for guys to choose from. And honestly, they all work about the same.
There are face serums that you apply as a base. Then you need to have the eye cream that takes care of the bags around your eyes. And don’t forget the moisturizer. This is probably the most important product in the anti-aging routine. Just like hydrating your body with water, you need to hydrate your face. This is the single most important step in keeping your youthful look.
Particle Face Cream
Over the past year, I’ve written a few articles that talk about moisturizers and the importance of using them. When I was introduced to Particle’s face cream I was a little skeptical as to how well it would work. However, since I substituted my current products with their 6-in-1 face cream, I have to say that I’m really impressed. It worked exactly as they claimed it would.
Here are the benefits of the 6-in-1 Particle face cream:
- Helps reduce wrinkles
- Alleviates eye bags
- Helps to remove dark spots
- Soothes your skin after shaving
- Moisturizes your skin
- Nourishes your skin with Dead Sea minerals
First off, I need to say, “Wow”. They weren’t messing around when they made this face cream. After a few weeks of using Particle face cream, I started noticing a difference in my skin. Particle has since replaced my $70 bottle of face serum, my $50 tube of eye cream, and my slew of daily moisturizers.
You might be thinking that I’m only saying this to sell a product. Truth is, I’m a 46-year-old dad of three kids. I don’t exercise as often as I should. I stay up way too late writing articles and building my website. And I love junk food. Based on my habits, you might think that I could be looking pretty ratchet. Check out my About Me page called “Who Writes This Stuff” to see what I look like. I think I look pretty good for my age and bad habits!
Particle Face Wash and Face Mask
In addition to the 6-in-1 “miracle” Particle face cream, Particle also makes two other products. The weekly clay face mask for deep cleaning your face and the daily face wash. In the evenings I wash my face and then use a little skin toner. Since using the Particle face wash there’s no need for the toner anymore. The face wash has the same effect on my skin.
Time and Cost Savings
Since I started using Particle it has actually saved me time in the bathroom. I no longer need to use four different products for my face routine.
Before I started using Particle, I was paying around $180 per month in skincare products. Now I pay about $50 per month since Particle will last me twice as long and I don’t need to buy as many products!
Like I said previously, I’ve only been using Particle for the past few weeks. But based on my usage, these products should last me close to three months. Now everyone’s usage is different, so you might go through your bottles a little quicker or maybe they’ll last longer? Either way, you’re saving yourself a ton of time and money!
Particle has seriously changed my skincare routine for the better. Their products are on-point, cost-effective, and best of all, they’re helping to keep my skin healthy and youthful-looking!
